CO-WORKING ? OFFICE OFFICE IT IS.

With quirky interior and ambiance, Office Office is another addition to the list of classy restaurants in the Janpath lane. The ambiance was too good, quite colourful and gave the whole place a very vibrant feel. Well, one can surely forget their office work load just by sitting at this place!
The moment we entered this place, we were really impressed by the passage that led to this quirky restaurant; well lit with plants on the sides and a huge mirror, obviously to check yourself out ;)

We felt that the vegetarian options in the menu were a little less, I hope they soon add up some more dishes for shakahari people like us!

"Veg Mezze Platter" had the usual contents, but we loved their preparation of hummus and baba ganoush. Thumbs up for that!

The "veg pizza" was delicious, and their thin crust was actually thin, highly recommended.

"Chilly corn tarts" looked delicious, but we were left confused at the taste; the tart was perfect, but there was not a pinch of chilli in this dish, combination wasn't too good.

Coming to the mocktails and shakes that we tried there, one thing you must try out is the "Pan Punch mocktail", a unique blend of the Pan flavours put into a mocktail; quite refreshing!
Their "No Hangover Martini" was an orange flavoured drink, which we didn't quite like.
"Sangria" was a mixture of a lot of juices and tasted as if it was a cocktail; highly recommended!
But for us, their Oreo shake stole the show, amazing taste, not too flat, not too sweet; just perfect to set your taste buds on a sweet rush!

All in all, we feel that their shakes and mocktails is something one should surely try out if not anything else. To summarise, do try their pizza and pasta, quite filling and yummy!
BonAppetit!

UNPLUGGED COURTYARD - THE DATE NIGHT GOALS

This beautifully illuminated landscaped courtyard is unquestionably trending the hype of courtyards and terrace cafes. Curbing away from the major competition at Connaught Place, Unplugged Courtyard with a sandstone courtyard has a neem tree in the center, a terrace garden and a statuesque bar.

Offering colossal food and drinks option, we started the  evening by culling a refreshing mocktail -

"Strawberry and kiwi slush" Mocktails are convivial, sometimes fizzy and always a five star relish. The slush had a tropical punch which added the oomph to the citrus flavour. The slurry mixture of the fruity ice crystals had a sublime flavour. A juicy getaway for summers *slurp*

 Our three course meal...

Entree-

At this picturesque cafe, the menu is a combination of all the flavours of the world infused with a lot of Indian Twist. one such is "Ganna Chicken".  The chicken was barbecued on ganna skewers (cane). It had a sweet and fiery taste with assorted condiments. Served with muddled chili sauce and thyme roots, it was intriguing to devour a bunch of flavours. Chicken was tender and perfectly seasoned but a bit too sweet for my tastebuds.

Main Course -

Golgappas are a celebration for everybody's taste buds. It's a sensational street food. And when the golgappa is engulfed with a thin crust cheesy pizza it is known as "Golgappa Hangover"  A perfectly baked wood oven thin crust vegetarian pizza was loaded with cheese, yellow and red bellpepper and GOLGAPPASS *jawdropping* OMG ! Packed with delicious melted cheese inside the golgappa, it was indeed a cheesy affair.

We also indulged on "Lal Dora Di Manjee" a vegetarian platter which included spicy and succulent paneer tikka, tender soya malai chaap which would melt as soon as it fits in your mouth, veg seekh kebabs and broccoli drizzled with cheese. Each and every element on this platter was pungent, moist, lush and mouthwatering *omnomnom*

Desserts -

Isn't it extravagant to inundate liquor with something sweet ? Ofcourse, we love the idea *lovestruck*  The "Bailey's Churros" was adulterated with pure valrhona and fortified with Bailey's Irish Cream. The cream was fresh and whipped correctly making it light and foamy. Churros are predominantly choux, fried dough pastry and these were crispy and crispy and more crispy. A combination of a tipsy and turvy dessert *highonsweet*

This bewitching gigantic courtyard is pulchritudinous. Its decor and food+drinks wins everything at once ! No doubt it shall soon be a hub of every foodie. This spot at CP is worth a visit for a special evening. The wooden upholstery and leather couches makes sure that there is everything for everyone. Spectacular food and addictive drinks makes you moreish and Unplugged Courtyard is a tick for the list.
